Jimmy Ellis is a video producer, video editor, cameraman, and musician based in the Netherlands. Jimmy, originally from Manchester, England, was the inspiration and driving force behind Central Control Video Productions, a company which he started back in 2009 and ended in 2020. 

Jimmy has worked in video production and post production in the Netherlands for over 30 years and is passionate about film making and the emotionally uplifting power of the moving image, combined with the right visualisation, music, dialogue and editing. 

During his time in the TV/film/video world, Jimmy has accumulated  a broad knowledge of nearly every aspect of the industry and is connected with a wide range of media professionals.  Mainly as a video editor, Jimmy has worked for a large number of renowned film and  TV companies in the Netherlands; Ivo Niehe, Endemol, IDTV, RTL, VPRO, AVRO, Chellomedia, Discovery, National Geographic, Film1 and Sport1 channels.
